Struggling Valencia signs striker Sadiq on loan

MADRID, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- La Liga struggler Valencia on Saturday confirmed the signing of Nigerian international forward Umar Sadiq. The 27-year-old joins the side that is currently second from the bottom of the classification on loan from Real Sociedad until the end of the campaign, with Valencia having an option to make the move permanent for around 10 million euros (10.3 million U.S. dollars).
