Swedish inflation eases to 0.8%, lowest in four years

Stockholm (dpa-AFX) - Sweden's consumer price inflation slowed more than expected in December to the lowest level in four years, flash data from Statistics Sweden showed on Wednesday. The consumer price index (CPI) climbed 0.8% year-over-year in December, slower than the 1.6% stable rise in November. The expected inflation rate was 1%.
