3.4 mln tourists visit Myanmar's Bagan in 2024

YANGON, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- About 3.4 million tourists visited the ancient city of Bagan in central Myanmar's Mandalay region in 2024, U Win Aung, deputy director of Bagan's Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, told Xinhua on Thursday. The number of tourists visiting Bagan in 2024 has increased compared to the 2.4 million recorded in 2023, he said.
