Cologne (dpa) - Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, is to receive the prestigious International Charlemagne Prize for services to Europe, organizers said on Wednesday. The prize's board of directors nominated the 66-year-old German politician for the award, describing her as "a strong voice for Europe in the world."
