Gael Monfils said he was ready to "do some damage" after stunning Taylor Fritz on Saturday at the Australian Open in his first win over a top-five seed at a Grand Slam in almost 17 years. The 38-year-old Frenchman upset the world number four 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7/1), 6-4 to make the last 16 for a sixth time on his 19th appearance at the tournament.
