Tanzanian President Confirms Marburg Fever Outbreak in Country

MOSCOW, January 21 (Sputnik) - Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has confirmed an outbreak of Marburg fever in the country, saying that so far only one case of infection has been registered. Last week, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that eight people had allegedly died from Marburg fever in Tanzania.
