Guangdong carbon market closes flat

GUANGZHOU, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 39.47 yuan (about 5.51 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Wednesday, keeping flat as Tuesday, at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange, the largest local carbon market in China. A total of 2 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Wednesday with a turnover of 77 yuan.
