China's growth boosts global development: Zimbabwean economists

HARARE, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- China's economic growth in 2024 has delivered a significant boost to the global economy, despite challenges, Zimbabwean economists have said. According to data from China's National Bureau of Statistics released last Friday, the world's second-largest economy grew by 5 percent year-on-year in 2024, with its gross domestic product reaching 134.9084 trillion yuan (about 18.77 trillion U.S. dollars).
