5 killed, 5 injured in traffic accident in southern Myanmar

YANGON, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident in southern Myanmar's Mon state on Wednesday, an official from a local rescue organization told Xinhua on Thursday. The accident occurred as a vehicle was ascending the Ma Hlwe mountain in Ye township, Mon state, said the official from Yan Gyi Aung reserve fire service and rescue organization.
