Bayern's Eberl hopes for success of referee announcement trial

Munich (dpa) - Bayern Munich board member for sports Max Eberl hopes that a trial of public announcements by referees in German football from later Saturday onwards will be successful and accepted by fans. Eberl said he hopes for "transparency, openness, and a bit more understanding" for the project decided by the football commission of the German Football League (DFL), of which he is a member.
