Canada unveils first list of retaliatory tariffs against U.S.

OTTAWA, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Canadian federal government unveiled on Sunday a full list of goods subject to tariffs on 30 billion Canadian dollars (about 21 billion U.S. dollars) worth of imports from the United States. The Department of Finance said in a news release that the first phase of Canada's response to unjustified U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods will be effective Feb. 4 when the U.S. tariffs are applied.
