Berlin (dpa) - Demands by US President Donald Trump for NATO members to spend 5% of gross domestic product (GDP) on defence are "unaffordable," German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said on Monday. "We don't have to jump every time Donald Trump tells us to," Pistorius told German public broadcaster ZDF.
