U.S. stocks close higher

NEW YORK, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 317.24 points, or 0.71 percent, to 44,873.28. The S&P 500 added 23.60 points, or 0.39 percent, to 6,061.48. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased 38.31 points, or 0.19 percent, to 19,692.33. Eight of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in green, with real estate and technology leading the gainers by going up 1.59 percent and 1.57 percen......
