German court jails three for collecting donations for Islamic State

Dusseldorf (dpa) - A German court on Tuesday handed prison terms to three defendants charged with supporting Islamic State, finding them guilty of collecting donations for the terrorist group between 2020 and 2021. A 26-year-old woman holding German and Moroccan citizenship was given three years and three months in jail, while a 35-year-old German woman and her 35-year-old husband were sentenced to 2 years and nine months and three years and nine......
