Share of female lawmakers in Germany's new Bundestag slides to 32%

Berlin (dpa) - Official results on Monday showed the new Bundestag - the country's lower house of parliament - is set to have 204 female lawmakers, representing 32.4% of the 630 seats in the chamber as decided under the new German electoral law. The ratio of women has thus seen a slight drop from the 35% figure in the previous Bundestag.
