Japan's Ishiba cabinet approval holds steady in February: polls

TOKYO, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Public opinion surveys conducted by various media outlets in Japan showed that support for Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba's cabinet remained at around 40 percent in February, with some polls indicating slight increases. A poll conducted by Nikkei and TV Tokyo from Feb. 21 to 23 found that the cabinet's approval rating stood at 40 percent, down three points from January but still largely stable.
