Arbitration panel to decide possible Union appeal before season end

Berlin (dpa) - A German football arbitration panel wants to decide before the end of the season on a planned appeal by Union Berlin against the result of their Bundesliga match against Bochum marred by a thrown lighter incident. The arbitration court for clubs and football corporations told dpa on Saturday it will call for a quick ruling so that the clubs know where they stand in the table in a case which could affect the relegation battle.
