Mexico, under threat of US tariffs if it fails to curb drug trafficking, said Friday that it had seized 42 kilos (92 pounds) of fentanyl near the border. The fentanyl was found along with seven kilos of heroin in a car carrying three people who tried to escape in Tecate, just south of California, a government statement said.
