Berlin (dpa) - German icon Francesco Friedrich won a disrupted four-man bobsleigh race at the world championships in Lake Placid in the United States on Saturday before Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi claimed two-woman bob gold. Olympic champion Friedrich and his team beat compatriot Johannes Lochner's unit by 0.28 seconds after three runs to claim his 16th world championship gold medal. Brad Hall from Britain came third.
