Recovery From Cyclone Alfred to Cost Australia $760Mln - Treasury

MOSCOW, March 17 (RIA Novosti) - The Australian government estimates the costs of aid for those affected by tropical cyclone Alfred to be 1.2 billion Australian dollars ($760 million), Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers said on Monday. "Treasury expects there will be about a $1​​​.2 billion hit to economic output, just as a consequence of ex-tropical cyclone Alfred.
