Jacob Bridgeman carded a two-under-par 69 to take a slender one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the US PGA Tour Valspar Championship in Florida on Friday. The 25-year-old from South Carolina recovered from an erratic front nine that saw two birdies and two bogeys to finish the day on six under through 36 holes at Palm Harbor's Innisbrook Resort.
