Bayern choose Orlando as Club World Cup base as Dreesen bigs up event

Munich (dpa) - Bayern Munich will be based in Orlando for the Club World Cup in the United States and are set to fly out on June 10, chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen said on Monday. He explained that Florida was logistically ideal with three group matches in the east of the US. Bayern will play their first game against Auckland City in Cincinnati on June 15 before facing Boca Juniors on June 21 in Miami and Benfica on June 24 in Charlotte.......
