Majority of Russians Believe 1980s 'Perestroika' Reform Caused More Harm - Poll

MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - As many as 61% of Russians believe that the Perestroika policy in the mid-1980s, which aimed to restructure Soviet economy and political system, has done more harm than good for Russia, while 23% disagree with this opinion, a Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) poll showed on Tuesday.
