London (PA Media/dpa) - A British Royal Navy sailor jailed in Bahrain has been granted a royal pardon by its king. Owen Haggerty, from Renfrewshire in Scotland, was sentenced to three months behind bars last month after reportedly trying to break up a street brawl.
