Berlin (dpa) - Germany and Bayern Munich great Franz Beckenbauer asked fellow 1974 World Cup winner Günter Netzer whether he had had any near-death experiences during his heart operation in 2016. Netzer received six bypasses and was visited by Beckenbauer soon after the surgery. "Franz asked me if I had had any near-death experiences during the operations.
