German court rejects Christian family's bid to skip swim classes

Kehl, Germany (dpa) - Members of a small Christian community in Germany have failed in their legal bid to exempt their children from school swimming lessons. A spokeswoman for the administrative court in the south-western city of Freiburg announced on Wednesday that the family's lawsuit had been unsuccessful, without providing further reasons for the decision.
