German producer prices fall for first time in five months

Berlin (dpa-AFX) - Germany's producer prices dropped for the first time in five months in March due to lower energy prices, the country's statistical office Destatis reported Thursday. Producer prices fell 0.2% year-on-year in March, compared with the 0.7% rise seen in February.
