MOSCOW, April 17 (RIA Novosti) - Qatar has invested nearly $1 billion in the Russian economy through the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday.
