The US government has ordered a halt to construction of a huge wind farm off the New York coast by Norwegian energy company Equinor, dealing another blow to an industry President Donald Trump opposes. Equinor said in a statement on Thursday that it had taken "immediate steps" to comply with the decision, but it was also "considering its legal remedies, including appealing the order".
