Cologne (dpa) - Senior Christian leaders in Germany paid tribute to Pope Francis for his role in reforming the Catholic Church and the breadth of his humanism after the death of the pontiff on Easter Monday. The chairman of the German Bishops' Conference Georg Bätzing honoured the late Francis as a "great pope," saying he had opened up a new chapter in the Church.
