China Reduces Cotton Fiber Imports From US by Almost 12 Times - Customs Data

MOSCOW, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - China reduced imports of cotton fiber from the United States by almost 12 times to $27.7 million in March, while last year it was one of the top 10 sources of income for US exporters, according to RIA Novosti calculations based on Chinese customs data. Chinese purchases of chemical threads decreased by 40% to $9.1 million, of chemical fibers by 16% to $5.7 million, and of cotton wool, felt and non-woven materia......
