Netherlands Reaches Agreement to Increase Gas Production in North Sea - Cabinet

MOSCOW, April 23 (RIA Novosti) - The Dutch government and oil companies have signed an agreement to increase gas production in the North Sea in order to reduce dependence on imported gas, the Dutch cabinet announced on Wednesday. "The government, the company Energie Beheer Nederland, and the industry association Element NL have reached a joint agreement on the responsible extraction of remaining natural gas in the North Sea," the cabinet said.
