MOSCOW, April 24 (RIA Novosti) - US President Donald Trump plans to exempt carmakers from some tariffs after industry executives lobbied for the issue in recent weeks, the Financial Times reported, citing two sources. The move could exempt auto parts from tariffs Trump imposed on imports from China to combat fentanyl production, as well as tariffs on steel and aluminum, the report said.
