Frankfurt (dpa) - Eintracht Frankfurt president Mathias Beck has said he was in a critical condition when he underwent heart surgery in February, and that his wife then cut all means of communications during his recovery out of fear for his health. Beck, 54, told reporters on Thursday he underwent heart surgery due to protracted pneumonia and a thickening of the aorta.
