US chemicals maker Dow considers closing two plants in Germany

Berlin (dpa) - The US chemicals firm Dow said on Thursday it is considering the closure of two plants in eastern Germany due to high energy and raw material costs, as well as regulatory pressures. The plants in question are located in Schkopau, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, and Böhlen, in the state of Saxony.
