Victory in Great Patriotic War Remains Source of National Pride for 58% of Russians - Poll

MOSCOW, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the 1941-1945 segment of World War 2 involving the Soviet Union, is an issue of national pride and unity for 58% of Russians, a Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) poll showed on Monday. At the same time, 68% of Russians agree with the opinion that young people now attach less importance to the Great Victory than previous generations, while 24% hold the opposite point......
