Union Berlin defender Leite out for season with rare larynx fracture

Berlin (dpa) - Union Berlin defender Diogo Leite's season is over after he suffered a fracture to the cartilage of his voice box. The club said in a statement on Tuesday that he will take a break from playing and training for several weeks while the larynx heals. The Portuguese was injured during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Bochum, when he was hit by a shot by Matus Bero. The east Berliners are clear of the relegation places with three Bundesliga games......
