Berlin (dpa) - Germany's Deutsche Welle (DW) is awarding its Freedom of Speech prize to Georgian journalist Tamar Kintsurashvili for her "determination to battle disinformation in Georgia," the state-owned international broadcaster said on Tuesday. Kintsurashvili is the managing director of the independent Media Development Foundation (MDF) founded in 2008.
