Frankfurt (dpa) - Former German Football Federation (DFB) president Theo Zwanziger had his tax evasion case linked to the awarding of the 2006 World Cup dropped by a Frankfurt court on Wednesday. A 10-year legal marathon came to an end for the 79-year-old after he agreed to pay ?10,000 ($11,300) to a charitable organization, without accepting guilt.
