MOSCOW, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - The gross domestic product (GDP) in the euro area grew by 1.2% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, European Statistical Office (Eurostat) data showed on Wednesday. "Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 1.2% in the euro area and by 1.4% in the EU in the first quarter of 2025," the statistical office said.
