Wall Street stocks rose early Friday as markets began looking ahead to big tech earnings next week and the home stretch of a bitter US presidential campaign. A plethora of industrial and financial companies have already reported third-quarter results. Companies in the S&P 500 were on track for 2.1 percent earnings growth, down from the 3.6 percent previously expected, according to a CFRA Research note earlier this week.
