BAGHDAD, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a Shiite militia group, on Tuesday claimed responsibility for carrying out a drone strike on a "vital target" in southern Israel. In a statement, the group said the strike was carried out in solidarity with the people in Palestine and Lebanon, pledging to continue targeting "the enemy's strongholds at an escalating pace."
