Bangladesh to import nearly 190 mln eggs to rein in prices

DHAKA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday approved 42 firms to import 188 million eggs to stabilize prices and ensure the availability of the essential commodity. According to the ministry's statement, the import permission will expire on Jan. 31, 2025. With the latest decision of the ministry, some 50 companies so far got approval for bringing around 300 million eggs from abroad since October. In recent day......
