A majestic 171 from Harry Brook put England firmly in charge of the first Test against New Zealand in Christchurch with a 111-run lead at lunch on Saturday. At the break, the visitors were 459-8 with skipper Ben Stokes not out 78 and Brydon Carse on five after England launched an all-out assault on the bowling.
