Canada's job vacancies mark ninth consecutive quarterly decline

OTTAWA, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Canada's job vacancies fell by 31,900, or 5.5 percent, to 546,100 in the third quarter of this year, marking the ninth consecutive quarterly decline, Statistics Canada said Monday. Job vacancies declined for both permanent and temporary positions, and among both full-time and part-time positions, the national statistical agency said.
