Scholz calls for EU-coordinated policies for e-car subsidies

Brussels (dpa) - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Wednesday called for Europe-wide tax and business incentives as a better way to combat Chinese competition in the electric car market. Since the electric car market is European, with interconnected production, supply, and customer structures, Scholz said it would be best "if we find a European solution regarding purchase incentives."
