Vietnam's pepper exports decline in volume but surge in value

HANOI, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's pepper industry recorded a decline in export volume but a surge in export value in 2024, Vietnam News Agency cited the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association on Tuesday. The Southeast Asian country enjoyed a 45.4 percent increase in export turnover in 2024, reaching nearly 1.4 billion U.S. dollars despite a 5.1 percent drop in export volume, said the association.
