Guangdong carbon market closes flat

GUANGZHOU, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emission allowances closed at 38.09 yuan (about 5.3 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Friday, keeping flat as Thursday, at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange, the largest local carbon market in China. A total of 100,006 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Friday with a turnover of 3,747,239.19 yuan.
