Guangdong carbon market closes flat

GUANGZHOU, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 37.61 yuan (about 5.23 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Wednesday, kept flat as Tuesday, at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange, the largest local carbon market in China. A total of 26 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Wednesday with a turnover of 1,037.2 yuan.
