Sørum claims first biathlon World Cup win in Ruhpolding

Berlin (dpa) - Norway's Vebjørn Sørum claimed his maiden individual World Cup win with victory in the men's 20-kilometre race in Ruhpolding, Germany on Wednesday. The Norwegian hit all targets and clocked the fastest time of 47 minutes 30.0 seconds. France's Émilien Claude was 52.1 seconds behind and also had a clear shooting to make his podium debut at the World Cup. Andrejs Rastorgujevs of Latvia was third with one missed target.
